Jennifer has been in the fashion industry for over twenty years, with experience ranging from production to sales to retail. She holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Quinnipiac University and worked in the garment industry for ten years. Her experiences there took her all over the world, growing her knowledge of the business. Since leaving the garment industry shortly after her first of three children was born, she went on to sell fifteen accessories lines to the high-end boutiques in New York and New Jersey. Throughout her professional journey she has dabbled in the retail side of the accessories business, and now has her own website bringing trendy and fun accessories to her fashion-forward clientele. When Jennifer had a dear friend diagnosed with breast cancer, she was compelled to help - Spoil Me Pink is the best way she knows how. Jennifer wants to share the love by giving her community an opportunity to enjoy this royal treatment.
As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Tara‘s commitment to Spoil Me Pink is deeply personal. Initially diagnosed in 2005, she has provided hundreds of women with helpful hints on how to handle surgeries, treatments, and difficult conversations with loved ones during their cancer battle.
Before co-founding Spoil Me Pink, Tara worked with American Cancer Society in various nonprofit and fundraising roles, including as Director of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Honored as a Helping Hero by Live with Kelly and Ryan, Tara’s experiences have inspired her to speak publicly and counsel other women as they confront the profound mental and physical challenges of their disease.
Being a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate, Tara has a keen eye for style and trends. She also uses her creativity for Tara’s Treats, by creating homemade and gourmet desserts for the SWAG Bags and VIP Lounge.
