Jennifer has been in the fashion industry for over twenty years, with experience ranging from production to sales to retail. She holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Quinnipiac University and worked in the garment industry for ten years. Her experiences there took her all over the world, growing her knowledge of the business. Since leaving the garment industry shortly after her first of three children was born, she went on to sell fifteen accessories lines to the high-end boutiques in New York and New Jersey. Throughout her professional journey she has dabbled in the retail side of the accessories business, and now has her own website bringing trendy and fun accessories to her fashion-forward clientele. When Jennifer had a dear friend diagnosed with breast cancer, she was compelled to help - Spoil Me Pink is the best way she knows how. Jennifer wants to share the love by giving her community an opportunity to enjoy this royal treatment.
Tara is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology and has studied baking at The Culinary Institute of America. Besides having worked in the fashion industry, she embraces her style and creativity by making gourmet personalized sweets for Tara's Treats. For over ten years, she has baked her innovative desserts for retail stores, catering, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, holiday celebrations, and more.
On a personal level, inspiring survivors is close to her heart since she is a two-time breast cancer survivor. After being diagnosed at the age of thirty, and later with a recurrence at thirty-six, she knows all too well the toll treatment takes on women both mentally and physically. For nine years Tara worked with the American Cancer Society in various nonprofit and fundraising roles including Director of their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. It was this experience coupled with her personal journey that inspired her to speak at events and share her own experiences. She knows firsthand how a day to be spoiled promotes a positive outlook and serves as a reminder that all women are beautiful, even when bald. She was driven by her desire to give back to the sisterhood and pay it forward with her guidance, encouragement, and support.
